UNITAR Leading Inclusive 4IR: Empowering Women in Afghanistan for the Future of Work through Digital Reskilling

The programme is being conducted with the financial support of the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida)
Due to the high number of applications received for the first cohort, the call for applications for the first cohort is now closed. We encourage you to continue to apply for the second cohort of the UNITAR online course 'Leading Inclusive 4IR: Empowering Women in Afghanistan for the Future of Work through Digital Reskilling'. Applicants for the first cohort who have not received an acceptance email on May 28th, 2021 will be considered for the second cohort of this course. This call of application will stay open until July 14th for the second cohort.
-The online training programme for the second cohort will be run for 6 weeks which will include self-paced online courses, webinars, coaching and a Hackathon at the end. It will be fully delivered in English.
-The training will be from July 19th to September 5th, 2021.
-The training will mainly cover topics such as digital literacy, working with data, programming, coding, applications development, AI and machine learning, cybersecurity and network, women empowerment, SDGs, and contextualization in regard to the global trends.

To apply for this programme, you will need to complete the below steps:

- Start, complete and submit your Application Form
Participants will be selected through an open call for applications based on specific criteria including:
- Geographical and sectoral representation within Afghanistan;
- Deep interest in Digital Technologies;
- Good oral and written English skills; and
- Keen passion to learn by doing and highly motivated to succeed to provide a positive impact on society.
The programme will be delivered in English and carried out 100% online, incorporating asynchronous on-demand courses and a series of webinars delivered by expert facilitators, through online platforms.
